Scott McKinzie
After practicing in Tucson, Arizona for 23 years, Scott returned home to the Bay Area in 2006. Having grown up in San Jose and graduated from UC Davis, he is so happy to be back and now sharing the joys of living here with Kate and their daughters, Claire and Mary. A graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Dentistry, he has also received additional training in the area of orthodontics and sleep apnea therapy. Scott recognizes the importance of putting patients at ease and keeping them informed, so he takes the time to listen to each person’s concerns.

Kate McKinzie
Our practice represents a new adventure for Kate and Scott, who have been working together for the first time. A licensed clinical social worker with degrees from The University of Arizona and Tulane University, Kate brings a warm and caring manner so many patients need and appreciate. The joy and understanding she and Scott experience in their personal life is now evident in their working relationship. Our "mom and pop" dental practice is something of which they are both very proud and know to be a place of excellent health care delivered in a compassionate environment.

Kathy Rensulat
Kathy has been a part of the practice for over five years, and she relishes the personal relationships that she has developed with our patients. Born in Cebu City, Philippines, she received her dental hygiene training at San Joaquin Valley College and the University of Pacific Dental School in San Francisco. Kathy enjoys Bikram yoga, cooking and eating good food, and shopping. But her greatest love is for her two sons, Ralph and Justin.

Mallory Lightfoot
As Scott’s dental assistant, Mallory is directly involved in patient care and comfort. Her kind and gentle manner helps to put our patients at ease, and her outstanding professional skills offer the perfect compliment to Scott’s care. Mallory received her training from Sacramento City College and will tell you that our office is the best place to work that she could possibly imagine.

Wallace Blanchard
With degrees from Cabrillo College, San Francisco State and UC Berkeley, Wallace’s extensive education is complemented by his 35 years of experience as a dental hygienist. His calm demeanor and warm laugh help to make every patient feel at home. Originally from the village of Grosse Tete, Louisiana, Wallace and his wife, Dorothy, enjoy traveling together (with Palm Springs being one of their favorite destinations).

Maribel LaLanne
Maribel has long been enamored with people's smiles, and this led her to a career in dental hygiene. She loves the peaceful and family-oriented environment of our office where she is devoted to making every smile a healthy one. Maribel has degrees from both Chabot College and San Joaquin Valley College. Born and raised in the East Bay, she and her husband, Chris, enjoy having both of their families nearby. In addition to being a terrific hygienist, Maribel is also a CrossFit trainer and works with her husband, Chris LaLanne at their new health club in San Francisco.
